Your first 3 QR codes will never expire, even if you are only ever on the free plan.

If you start a free trial or upgrade, then create additional QR codes (beyond your first 3), those extra codes will expire when your trial ends or you downgrade from a paid plan.

A lot of providers with a free plan automatically disable QR codes after a certain time period or number of scans. We do not (yes, even dynamic QR codes).

Static vs Dynamic QR codes

Static QR codes actually can't expire, even if we wanted them to. If you want a QR code that is certain to last forever, use static codes, but keep in mind that they can never be edited and don't include any sort of tracking or scan analytics.

We also don't expire dynamic QR codes, but our servers are required to keep running for dynamic QR codes to continue to work. Learn more about static vs dynamic QR codes here.
