Can I change a static QR code into a dynamic QR code?

In short: No.

If you have created a static QR code and then realised that you want to edit the scan destination or track scans, unfortunately, it's not possible.

With static QR codes, the scan destination is encoded directly into the QR code pattern, so once the code is created, it can't be changed.

Dynamic QR codes work by encoding a redirect link into the pattern of the QR code which then redirects people who scan it to the scan destination. When you edit the scan destination of a dynamic QR code, you are actually just updating the location that the redirect link redirects people to.

Your only option in this case is to create a new QR code (and make sure it's dynamic)
